AT&T LT Win Modem Free Driver Download. I used this file when my computer found a AT&T Winmodem but I could not find a driver. This led me to the Lucent Driver. Download Lucent WinModem v.90 version 8.24. Upgrade your LT Win Modem to version 8.24. NT, and XP for ISA and PCI. Is an American multinational conglomerate holding company headquartered at Whitacre Tower in Downtown Dallas, Texas. It is the world's largest telecommunications company, the second largest provider of mobile telephone services, and the largest provider of fixed telephone services in the United States via AT&T Communications.

'After trying a driverset for USR v. 90, which did not install the modem card in this Compaq Presario 2200. This modem570.exe Lucent executable is an excellent driver for the unique [space-saving] modem on the mobo installed under WinME. Better than going on the firm's website. I chose this one and it installed the modem and the enumerator!!!'

'I tried to install on Win 2000 on Celeron 300 PC.

It put an icon in my control panel 'Action TEc Modem com port mapping applet that I can neither open or delete. The install did not work.

I would not advise this as a cure all for all Lucent modems, since it did not work for me, and the icon in control panel is a nuisance.'

'Thanks for the driver haven't tried it yet, I am fixing a computer for my niece who has a very slow computer and does not have enough memory to view all the wonders of the internet. 'I am looking for drivers for an Aptiva 2140L61, so far I havent had any luck from this site with this PC.as a matter of fact i have had to use spare parts to enable my Modem,Sound card and Printer. Its an old Operating system that requires old parts and drivers ,Older than whats available here.

'This is the exact driver I needed. Works like a champ. After extracting the files, I ran the setup which automatically detected the modem afterwards. At first I was receiving a 'Port Already Open' when checking the diagnostics, but once I changed the BIOS PNP configuration from 'Auto' to 'Manual', the diagnostics indicated a functional modem.'

'Was sort of tricky. I just clicked ' OK ' and it fell through and loaded what was needed. I did have to (at times) direct it to the right director(s) for files after un-Zip'd. Bottom Line it worked and even better then my Normal item.'

XP the modem would distort dial tones and get wrong numbers. I gave up and bought a non winmodem PCMCIA card and it works good.'
